Ever had a crush on a male character?
Yes. I tried to watch Big Hero 6 last night simply because Hiro is hot. I got a little less than an hour in before having to turn it off because it is a terrible and boring movie, but the main character sure is hot. I feel like it was so highly praised when it released and now more than a decade later I still cannot fathom why. Sorry for hijacking your question to rant about BH6 but god damn does this movie suck, I wonder how it won an Academy award. At least it has Hiro and Fall Out Boy.

I don’t care if people enjoy the movie of course, I just truly cannot understand why, but this does give me a little more perspective. From the hour I watched I found it pretty predictable and falling flat on a lot of aspects such as engaging the viewer or making a plot twist hit (Such as Hiro’s brother we have zero connection outside of really awkward forced nice guy interactions randomly bursting into flames and who the villain actually is). It could’ve been something great but I have a feeling it was heavily meddled with and in result we got a very boring, overhyped piece of trash. I don’t know if it’s entered the nostalgia stages for people yet regarding this movie but it truly does seem like it was created with ONLY children who aren’t paying attention half the time in mind.
