Was it financially successful?Did the fans of the first movie like the second one?Is this more evidence of a Disney Cinematic Universe than before the film premiered? Do you want the next 3 Mario based film or a spin-off of the memorial franchise to get one first?
I didn’t see a single thing about this movie anywhere on social media (besides someone editing the gassy bowser thing on the cinema screen) after they announced Rosalina and Peach are sisters in the movie canon. I’m not autistic or a child so I can’t tell if you the fanbase enjoyed it but it is indeed a massive box office success and very early into the year as well
I saw it for Bowser and Junior and they were super fun in the movie so I enjoyed it, it's not a good film though. It's pretty bad, I got lucky that my favorites were fun, along with Kamek.
>>153510656I know I enjoyed it.
>>153510656>Was it financially successful?Yes, but that's expected. I read it did slightly worse than the first movie, which is a bad sign, but that was weeks ago so it may be outdated information.>Did the fans of the first movie like the second one?Hell no. First movie was hardly a masterpiece but at least had a coherent plot. Second movie is a bunch of scenes slapped together. Also, Rosalina's story was held in high regard by fans, so the movie changing it to prop up Peach left a bitter taste.>Is this more evidence of a Disney Cinematic Universe than before the film premiered? Not sure. These movies have proven to be little more than ads for whatever Nintendo wants to sell you at the moment. First movie had DK to sell Bananza, and there's probably some Star Fox thing coming out soon.I think they'll just keep pumping Mario movies and the "guest appearance" of the installment will coincidentally have a new product announced soon after.>Do you want the next 3 Mario based film or a spin-off of the memorial franchise to get one first?Honestly? I don't care anymore. I gave the first movie some leeway because it was their first attempt and the key jiggling still had some effect on me. Galaxy taught me they have no intention of improving or taking risks. If it won't be fun, why bother?
