Why are there barely any westoid series where the protagonist has a bunch of different forms?

Are westoid children too stupid to understand that a character can look different and still be the same person?

Only series I can think of are Ben10 and Ladybug

You say that when Superman exists.

you say that when iron man has effectively been a henshin hero since he got the model 3 despite no one at marvel ever seeing a single episode of kamen rider
or captain marvel predating most toku heroes in general with his ability to transform into a super-version of himself using a command word

For 3d and 2d puppet series character models are the most expensive asset to create, so there's a huge incentive to keep their number down as much as possible. Clothes variants basically count as new models too. It's less pronounced for fully drawn 2d shows but still a thing since you need full model and reference sheet for your outsourcing partners to no fuck it up

Even for traditional animation extra character designs cost money. There's a reason Elisa wore that same red jacket and jeans combo for three seasons.

And yet As Told by Ginger and Totally Spies has unique outfits for every episode
>>

and they have said that the extra clothes were one of the costliest parts of ginger, and it was only done because their vision of a show that focused entirely capturing a relatable world where people have realistically sized wardrobes
ginger also, importantly, has no fight scenes or complex machines, so they could afford to concentrate the budget on clothing

nothing in animation comes cheap, which is why studios have found ways to cut costs wherever possible

It's not only cheaper, but a singular form/design/outfit has a more consistent brand identity.

There was Zak Storm, co-created by Man of Action.

If the main character transforms into a big alien then trannies will flood the fandom and spam how transcoded and brave Ben 10 is
t. I made it up
>>
>>153523931
The outfits were a deliberate selling point. But also, not for every episode, no, far from it
>>

totally spies also has the spy catsuits used for actual action scenes and take up as much, or sometimes more, screentime than their normal outfits
the show also takes several shortcuts in animation to compensate, in any case
