I mean it was pretty much just the DC equivalent to the Contest of Champions comic tie in on the Marvel side. But given way too much hype.
There's a point where DC KO moved from simple dumb fun into something worse and you could tell that Snyder heard his JL/Metal days calling to him like the fucking Green Goblin mask and started listening. By this time in 2028 everyone will be calling him a hack all over again.

Oh my GOD and then they killed off Shazam in like two seconds when we could’ve gotten the sickest fight between them. The whole tournament was a mess and Joker lasted way too long for his own good, should’ve just plain and simply lost to Jason Todd instead of having that heart re beat thing or whatever it was
