I thought Sentinel was very lame. Ohhhhh he can do everythiiiiiing! He's evil Supermaaaaaaaan!!!! I thought he became way more interesting when the plot remembered his weird memory powers and Black Widow got warped to the memory zone. He's probably shlocky powerslop in the comics so they had to include his omnipotent powers but I think characters with boring powers should fuck off and stop being antagonists.

I think they wasted the Sentry here. Blew their load waaaaaaaay too early for the Void reveal. Should have been something that was built up towards, like a Hulk freakout. I guess they can still do that with Adam, though.

Easily the best post Endgame MCU movie and probably in my top three MCU movies over all. I really enjoyed the character interactions and the lower scale of the movie. They're a better team than the regular MCU Avengers and seem to actually like each other more than them as well. But they're for sure better than Sam's Avengers team Disney is trying to push. Hope they aren't just fodder for Doom. Thunderbolts seems to have a dedicated cult fan base

The narrative does those callbacks in order to directly contrast the reality of the two groups. Plus the "saving civilians" is just standard superhero fare, not something Wheadon's Avengers invented. Hell last year Thunderbolts, Superman and FF all had a dedicated scene of the characters rescuing/evacuating civilians.
