I realized how anime is referenced so much the last few decades, what do you think about it in general? Do you think it's too much? What's your favorite or least favorite?Side Note: I think the Holy Trinity of anime references are the Super Saiyan transformation, Sailor Moon transformation and the Akira bike slide.
I don't think the akira slide is that ubiquitous historically, it was very popular a couple of years back but it's not as prezent as the other two. Maybe nosebleed as a standin for erection, or the duel thing where both opponents finish their move pause to let tension build up then the loser plays his defeat animation? or the iaido strike maybe
