Is there a term for people who love super hero cartoons, games and movies but adamantly and proudly refuse to read the comics? I get that secondaries (or larpers as the zooms say) exist but that's more being too lazy and entry level to check out the original media. This feels more like hardcore superhero geeks who could easily find comics online and are making an active decision not to.

Posers is perfect

I think tourist is different. They aren't pretending to be fans, it's just their current fixation and they'll leave for the next big thing in a few weeks. Posers/larpers will stay and be obnoxious forever

Normie or tourist.
LARPer is the name of the people who wear the shirts and claim geek status but has never picked up a comic.

But lets be honest. Do you honestly believe the average normie would pick up a comic and like what they read? That a soiderman fan fresh frim the movies would like a modern comic. Or pick up a xmen comic and wonder why everyone was evil?

Its actively hostile to normies.
