does /co/ think this show was kino?
>>153543663I was more of a fan of Slugterra, but this is good too.
>>153543663Delicious Piper.
>>153543663I remember this cartoon when I was a kid it would have been interesting to see some examples of good psychopians I think they were called.
Delicious Cyclonis. Piper can fix her.
>>153543663>Wa have Jak and Daxter at home
>>153543663Are we finally, having a fucking Nerd Corp Action show thread. Fucking finally. I'm partial to Battle Force 5 myself but I like Max Steel and Slugterra for henshin and creature design respectively. What I wonder thought is how come no one seems to talk about these shows beyond "they're decent". They always feel like strong foundations for more but it doesn't being any schizos for some reason. Like for fucks sake Max Steel should be what having a symbiote is and even if slugterra isn't using the concept to the fullest the slugs feel like bigger characters then most pokemon despite only having the show.
>>153543663>remember watching the first episode only once>couldn't figure out if the main villain was a chick with a grating voice or a guy with an effeminately grating voiceYou can't even begin to imagine how much this has bugged me over the years.
>>153543797You mean the Dark Crystal using master of this iphoneians that's a check. See >>153543750
>>153543795I think because they are Canadian and have weird cgi.
>>153543845Actually I liked their cgi, that's why I remember them. It only got weird when it was next to fire specifically. Don't know why
>>153543944Tbh, the CGI was appealable and good looking in Storm Hawks, an improvement since its debut show in Dragon Booster.I can say that their usual CGI techniques skyrocketed when doing works for toy brands like with Mattel IPs which led to Slugterra end up being a good show. I think their usual style peaked at Endangered Species, their last show, but they didn't progressed much afterwards as they were absorbed by DHX Media to form Wildbrain. Imagine what they could have done with current celshading tech thanks to Spiderverse and Arcane. Their future shows could have been peak kino.
>>153544179Their last show was the deep, haven't watched it. Seeing Nerd Corp is proudly made up of nerds what do you think thier next project would be. They started close to fantasy and leaning closer and closer to sci fi. You think they would do knock off star wars? Combining all their assets together?

>>153543663I remember really loving it as a kid
>>153543663Yes. Shame no better sources for season 2.
>>153544179>current celshading tech thanks to SpiderverseIF THEY DO CHOPPY FRAMES I WILL SLAP EACH AND SINGLE ONE OF THEM
>>153548945There was a season 2?

>>153543663Unique world design because of the pure flying aspect, good soundtrack, but mediocre childish writing. It would have made for a good MMORPG or any video game where you get to explore Atmos(phere) The flying sequences could have been way better like HTTYD1 and Swat Kats. Also just like TAS Spiderman the punches never connected or showed an effect to censor it, instead the swords connected a lot and the vehicles got destroyed a lot.Chiara Zanni has a cute voice, but she did better in Kid Vs Kat as Fiona.Storm Hawks was a very good show in 2008 just like Generator Rex in 2010s but like both of those shows if they had released in 90s and 2000s they would have been mediocre... and if they had released in 2015s and 2020s they would have been amazing.
