This is such an underrated /co/ movie. Hilarious and much better than joyless slop like The Day The Earth Blew Up.
>>153546452>Sequel never everThis is the sad part

>KFP2 thread gets archived>Suddenly there's a TDTEBU threadBot board
>>153546472Fucking sad, really.
I saw a trailer for it while watching another movie at the Kinoplex and I was absolutely entranced for some uncanny reason. Is it actually good?
>>153546648>Is it actually good?Yes, it was quite funny, the character designs are uniquely wacky, and the gruesomeness in this movie will probably traumatize most young children.
>>153546472Wasn't there stuff on the radio or tv in this movie indicating that crazy stuff was happening outside the zoo as well?So they are likely to have to deal with that at some pointSad we don't get to see a movie of it
>Zoopocalypse thread>it's made by a deranged faggot as part of his moronic vendetta with another cartoon movieSigh>>153546648It was my sleeper hit movie of 2025. Thought nothing of it when I saw the movie come out in what, April, despite clearly being somewhat horror adjacentBut catching it during the 4chins Spooktober streams I was really taken with it. Super charming, cool take on zombies, and holy fuck Gracie is so cute, I love that noodle wolf like you would not believeIt has my full recommendation. Is the "no sequel" thing just pessimism or did the studio definitively say it's not happening? It is a fine standalone film as is, but a sequel could have been intriguing
>>153547780>many such cases Feels bad desu
>Horror movie for kids.Weird, but ok
I'm shocked this actually got a blu ray release but I snapped that shit up so fast. Gracie is too perfect.
>>153546452>HilariousIt wasn't a bad movie but calling it "hilarious" is a bit of an overstatement, don't you think? Plus the resolution was dogshit. Detergent killing the alien infection made more sense than fucking singing. And then the mountain lion leaves and the movie just ends. Terrible.
>>153548487OhDidn't know it got a blu ray releaseThink I'll pick it upFeel an art book of this movie would have been cool
>>153546452I wanted the wolf and cat to fuck.
>>153546472Did it not make its money back?
>>153549035Hard to say but the picture isn't rosyI've seen one site say they only made 8 million in theaters, another said 16 million, another said 16 million was movie tickets and home video sales combinedMoreover I can't even figure out how much it cost. Google spits out an AI summary that said 12 million but I can't find WHERE it got that number fromSo suppose we double 12 million to 24 for advertising and the like, and the box office numbers aren't very good at all, but one can hope that the film was simply inexpensive enough to not have enormous hopes riding on itPlus, I think it must surely have been put on streaming services somewhere (after the week they had it on Youtube) which could possibly pick up the slackWe simply just don't have much information at all, which is a troubling sign in and of itself. Guess I should have gotten on xwitter and tried shilling the movie to cartoon reviewers last October
>>153546452What if this movie went with a mixed media approach? Make the animals 2D, but keep the zombies CG.
>>153548466cute noodle wolf
>>153548966Funny blu website
>>153546452>much better than joyless slop like The Day The Earth Blew UpHow the fuck are mods still allowing this obnoxious loser to roam free when he makes the same threads EVERY FUCKING DAY. Do you seriously think you're changing anyone's mind by making a fool of your self daily for literal years? God I hope you and the rest of your ilk die sooner than later.
>>153549264The cutest
Good obscure movies don't deserve to be tainted by obsessed schizoids. Die in a fire OP, because you don't have enough honor to kill yourself.
Could it work or is he too old for her?
>>153550488They're incompatible. She'd get barb'd
>>153549264Need a au where the metor turns her into a human
>>153550656
>>153550666Angry satan wolf. Nuff said.
>>153547627No, not that I can recallThe space rock seemed quite large originally so the implication could be taken that it broke up and the meteorite that landed in the zoo was only a small piece and the other fragments could have landed elsewhere
>>153547780>when I saw the movie come out in what, AprilSpaniard?
>>153548480This isnt a new phenomenon. Monster House came out in 2006. It's been done a few times, it just isnt common.
>>153549156That would go a long way in explaining how and why it ended up on youtube and streaming so shortly after it's theatrical run
