Looser art gets trashed a lot more than realistic, boring, stiff art, and I think that's backwards.
>>153554642Well, a looser artstyle fits better when you are dealing with some extra dimensional setting like the one Doctor Strange has to visit occasionally. It's all about what fits the tone of the story you are trying to tell.
>>153554642comic book fans are real simpletons. I imagine there is a degree of insecurity too, the more realistic art seems more serious to them which helps to cope with reading low quality children's stories.
>>153554642This is stylized, not loose. Basically every line is very intentional and meaning something. I'd consider something like Jim Lee's sketches more loose because he's just tossing lines around.
>>153554642Not really. This artist gets only praise on /co/ but he sucks ass.
>>153555173>low quality children's stories.Nope, retard
>>153557082Elaborate.
>>153554642Your a looser
>>153554642I don't mind his abstract stuff, but Tradd Moore clearly hit his zenith somewhere between Strode and Guey Ryder
>>153554642God this story was such ugly pretentious garbageCool paneling and perspective for sure but everything else was just trash
>>153558401You are wrong
>>153560778Explain how and why.
>>153559919His issue of Venom, 150 or something I think, is some of his best work. Great comic.
>>153561977He's a manchild who read tripe like The Boys or Crossed and thinks it's makes him and the medium mature despite being some of the most childish comics in existence.
>>153562540You're right. That's actually really solid utility of page, flow of events and character design, especially for a superhero comic.I formally apologize for sleeping on you prematurely Mr. Moore.
>>153562574Nope
>>153562574People like that usually like stuff like Donald Duck and Peanuts.
