Magic is not inherently Asian like kung fu is.
At best you can accurately say that Dr. Strange plays to certain old fashioned orientalist tropes where a white guy goes to Asia and comes back as a master of mysticism. But that’s about it. He for example doesn’t then start pretending to be Asian or wear a turban and a tuxedo as a costume like some other similar fictional mystics did.
