How would Michael Jackson’s ‘80s Spider-Man movie have actually looked like in terms of villains, supporting characters, storylines, aesthetics, etc.?
>>153571783I know for a fact Micheal would never do pic related
There'd be some excuse for him to sing and there'd be more dancing than there was in Spider-Man 3.
>>153571783Saving more children. More dance moves (especially incorporated into him.shootimg webs) a forced Mary Jane romance because Michael is too feminine and child like and autistic to ever have a mature romantic and sexual relationship with a women ever.
>>153572061This, also the main villain would be Kingpin and he'd have a plot involving turning children into drug addicts. Possibly a version of Green Goblin turned goblin by Kingpin's drugs as secondary.
>>153571783probably like a set of his music videos, I think if he really wanted to some villains would use claymation/stopmotion like sandman and green goblin>>153571930I think spiderman would at least do a few dance moves I dont see MJ doing a Batman and RobinI think there would be more video game ads in the background though
>>153572061>>153572190This is literally just the plot of Moonwalker
the hook-nosed Vulture and his villanous org SONY would be the main villains
>>153572247>>153572264These would be based, and a Michael Jackson version of the 90's TAS theme would be beyond kino. Also Spider-Man would probably get one MJ-inspired costume. It would either look like some 00's techno shit or be something like an idea he had way back and thus also be weird or cool as hell.GG and drugs would probably be the main villain with Michael making a cameo as himself, and also a cameo as Mysterio.
>>153571783>we could've got James Cameron Spider-Mankino but 20th Century Fox didn't think spending a couple million on the rights once they got untangled was worth itI love Sam Raimi's movies but still
>SPIDER-MAN >1987>Peter Parker(Michael Jackson) is a shy college student majoring in science who interns at a local science lab that researches spiders. Quiet and lonely, he spends long nights with the spiders, where he sings and dances to pass the time. He comes home to his Aunt May (Ruby Dee) and Uncle Ben (Ossie Davis). Withdrawn from other students his age, his only friends are the local kids in his neighborhood who wander the streets day and night. Peter looks out for the local kids, especially the sickly Tim, while being menaced by local bully Flash Thompson. >One night, Peter is working on a lab when he finds a stray spider crawling outside of its cage. He goes to take it back, only to be bitten. He laments that the little creature was more afraid of him than he of it, and while trying to take the spider back to it's cage it dies. Peter sings a sad song about the fragility of life and how small creatures can be so misunderstood and hated. Unbeknownst to Peter, the spider was the subject of a radiation experiment and had left containment.>Heading home with a fever, Peter goes to lay down only to wake up and find he has incredible new abilities. His reflexes have been enhanced, he can stick to walls, and has an innate sense towards danger. Feeling a strange demand in his head, he looks at a variety of local house products and begins to mix them into a paste he finds he can make into a web. Peter realizes that the spider has given him a gift- he now has the abilities and knowledge of a Spider!>Excited, Peter goes for a crawl through his urban neighborhood, enjoying his newfound abilities. He runs into some local youth spraying graffiti, and manages to scare them off. When the cans fall on the ground, he gets an idea and takes the left over ones back. journeying more, he spies on some shady dealings outside a warehouse. Minions of the local ganglord, The Kingpin, are smuggling drugs within a warehouse, plotting to distribute the drugs in the neighborhood
>>153574057>sickly timYep. This is a Michael Jackson thing alright. >sings a sad song about the fragility of lifeKino but maybe better left after Ben's death. The songs of him going through the streets fighting, ballads, and more would be great. I can even kinda imagine how that would be.
>>153572190Honestly that sounds pretty cool.
>>153571783Joe Pesci as Doc Ock
>>153571783>With great power SHEE HEE comes great responsibility SHA MONN
>>153571783Spidey's swinging around New York would have looked pretty bad pre-CGI.MJ should have done a full length Captain EO sci fi space opera.
>>153575897>Spidey's swinging around New York would have looked pretty bad pre-CGIThis is all I can think about when I hear about these attempts. I could also see a an 80s/90s Spider-Man skimping on how often we see him in his actual suit
>>153572061>Still believing that narrative too.Mother fucker, the only people MJ fucked sexually were women bitches he brought into the studio, his wife and Ms Presley.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhEn8Xhe7qM Michael Jackson talks about buying Marvel Comics >"I'd love to work together. As far as timing... I really feel in my heart we must move as fast as we can because, the... on the film side of it, I don't know if you've been reading the paper, but Marvel already have sold off their internet rights and the stock is so low now. I mean they put out Spider-Man, now they got Incredible Hulk coming, they got X-Men 2 coming, they also got Spider-man 2 coming, it's going yo jump, it's gonna change, I mean you know, and this huge frenzy for superheroes and all the things that we can do, you knowit's, I want to get in it before the stock... we need to jump in now, the timing is perfect nobody's talking much about it you know, it's still, it's still a good time."imagine if michael jackson owned marvel before Disney did
>>153571783he findsd Mike Tyson as Killer Croc
>>153571783>villainsDoctor Octopus was THE Spider-Man villain in the 1980s. However, given that his tentacles would be expensive to do, I think they'd use Hobgoblin instead. They were really pushing Hobgoblin hard in the 80s. Would be fun if they kept the identity secret. Venom is also a possibility.>supporting castMJ as a love interest but also Black Cat to create a love triangle.>storylinesI don't think they'd really adapt the comics. That wasn't done at the time. They'd create their own story very loosely based on the comics.>aestheticsWe could possibly get a black suit (cloth, not symbiote) Spider-Man, as that was a look he rocked in the 80's.>>153575897Have you ever seen the 1977 Spider-Man TV show? It's literally a dude swinging from a rope from like ten story buildings. Shit was nuts.
>>153574164His song after Ben's death starts sad, turns to righteous anger over his lack of responsibility and the injustices in the world, turning into a strong finish where he commits to becoming Spider-man and using his powers to save the world.
>>153575419Damn...we need new actors who fit those archetypes. Holy fucking dark ages of entertainment we're living in.>>153576180Yep. Vague, but yes, that is how that would go.>>153576055If only....maybe Marvel and Mike would have both been saved...or not. I dunno.
>>153572247His love for transformations and imagination, I think he would be better suited for a Shazam movie instead of Spider-Man. If he didn't become a hermit in Neverland and then die earlier than he should have, I wonder what the superhero landscape would be like today. Would he have been involved in the MCU? Weird to think about.
>>153576206>Yep. Vague, but yes, that is how that would go.It starts off as mournful like She's out of my life or the opening of Dirty Diana, goes into angry like They Don't Really care About Us or DS, then ends with something like Earth Song or Black and White or a similar later career big song, while he reaches the top of the city and puts on his mask while the sun rises
>allegations delayed Michael Jackson from buying Marvel and Universal, so then Disney bought Marvel https://youtu.be/psUZBkfkKIQ?si=cO4aBiabr79mMvoQ&t=133>I mean a channel, a Marvel channel with the Marvel characters, but Marvel Films like the catalog... We can do anything we want to do from restaurants to retail to theme parks
>>153571783>MJ buys Marvel>Every MCU movie now has Jackson showing up as a random easter egg like they did with Stan Lee
>>153571783There was going to be one??????
>>153571783GOOD MORNING SIR
>>153576301MJ is too good and sincere to be in the fucking MCU, plus the fuckers at Disney would probably try to cancel him and it might have worked this time
>>153571783Depend son when in the 80s. Early 80s they were still making Superman movies and they kept the costume accurate but did not bother adapting any villain, it was all self contained stories with OCs. Post Superman 4, Hollywood became embarrassed to make a Superhero movie again unless it was all black leather and goth style for the next decade.
>>153576301The world rejected Michael, because they didn't understand the difference between him wanting to be a Mr Rogers for children to a child predator. Even after his death, every few years he is brought up and has his name dragged through the mud with people trying to ban his music. He would never be allowed to be in a movie ever again.
>With great power comes great responsibiliteehee
Spidey vs. the Green-hee-hee-n GoblinGwendy, are you okay? Are you okay, Gwendy?Mary Jane is not my loverHarry, those drugs are bad, they're bad, you know it
>>153576001He was probably molested by Diana Ross
>>153576103Michel always struck me as liking the classic villains. If he did it in the 80s Venom would be too new or not even out yet. 90s he would again suffer for being too new.
Although I love Michael Jackson so much that I would have liked to be a child victim, the man wasn't good in novies. Sorry. It would have been a terrible Spide-man, and make no sense.
>>153571783>‘80sMichael Jackson tried to buy Marvel in the 90's thoughbeit. 1996 to be exact. He also (allegedly) wanted to play Professor X.
Realistically exactly like this except with "Peter Parker" singing to himself while alone/working at the pizza shop and probably a big musical number for the credits. His involvement would make it exactly like Space Jam, where it's popular because of nostalgia but sucks otherwise
