Hate thread for this fucking midget
>>
I mean he had a point. Wreck it was an avatar of destruction.
>>
>>153575505
>Wreck it was an avatar of destruction.
That's literally what he was progammed and designed to do? Nicelanders are just douchebags for the sake of it.
>>
>>153575505
Did he have to treat Ralph like complete shit though?
>>
>>153575588
Also, he never does actual permanent damage because they have Magical Mr. Fix-It right there. What temporary pain he does inflict is necessary for their survival (a role he was forced into and has no choice in), and he seems to not go out of his way to cause more harm or take pleasure in it. Even on Gene, who actually does take things personally and go the extra mile to shit on Ralph.
>>
>>153575478
This guy has definitely said the n word with the hard r a couple of times
>>
>>153575745
And people's issue with Gene is MOST of the situation is addressed satisfactorily in the movie, EXCEPT Gene's shittiness. He gets the smug moment handing over the penthouse key and is never shown actually having to address his own shittiness (I'm sure this happens off screen, but we don't get the catharsis).
>>
>>153575505
He had no point. Ralph was clearly a fine guy off the job. He was a bit of a clutz, but he never had bad intentions and anything he broke was pretty minor--and it'd be pretty fucked up to hold it against him when Felix is around for anything he might unintentionally break. There was no other reason to hate him but for the nature of the game, but Ralph has no say in that, and any damage he's forced to do is fixed anyways.

They were needlessly cruel to him, and he was going to be alienated anyways. Even without them putting the idea in his head that he'd be accepted if he was just certified as a hero (which is another fuckup, not realizing that of course Ralph would be desperate as to think that'd actually work at that point), he'd have likely given up the ghost eventually anyways.

That's not Wreck It Ralph's fault tho!! Some people are just naturally wreckless, shouldn't mean we BANISH them..
>>
>>153575478
It wasn't his fault Ralph was too tall for his building, Ralph needed to get a clue
>>
>>153575505
An anon here of all places clued me on to the fact he's eternally tormented by Ralph upon every boot up.
If during some groundhog day situation someone came and trashed your place but you knew they were being controlled by some unseen wizard I think most people would still hold some contempt for the face of their troubles.
Especially since as much as we hear Ralph's thoughts in private and words at the meetings, the residents don't. To them he just disappears after everything before returning indifferent.
>>
>>153575987
>That's not Wreck It Ralph's fault tho!!
If Ralph has free will then Ralph can choose to watch what he's doing
>shouldn't mean we BANISH them..
If you do nothing but cause problems for everyone then you need to be removed from society

He also gets Ralph in turn at the end of every level though.

Their world is literally designed to be easily broken by him all day everyday. When it comes to interacting with their apartment, he essentially has a handicap. Anyone ever try to accomodate him, or even just visit him in the dump where it wouldn't be an issue?
>>
>>153576369
The handicapped cause nothing but problems for people and need to be removed from society.

Ralph, however, specifically does NOT 'cause nothing but problems", as his job is critical to the world not ending.

>The handicapped cause nothing but problems for people and need to be removed from society.
You need to be removed, subhuman

fucking niccer my nicca

>>153576483
It's sarcasm. Though perhaps not exaggerated enough to not come across that way, when it's an actual take from people who would send us both to the camps.

>>
>>153575505
That doesn't mean you need to treat him like shit, it's literally his job, and Felix is around to fix everything he damages anyways, I'd get it if everything he was permanent but why discriminate against the poor bastard if nothing he does lasts and it's necessary for their game to even stay afloat?
>>
>>153576034
>To them he just disappears after everything before returning indifferent.
Somewhere out there, there's probably some Youtuber using this as a basis for an 8 hour video essay about how Wreck It Ralph depicts the way others around you can't recognize obvious signs of depression like that
>>
>>153578039
There's at least this two-hour one about King Candy
>>
>>153578072
Whoops, forgot link

>>
>>153575505
destruction is a necessary concept, it don't have to meant evil, their world needed Ralph's yang for Felix's ying but they were too retarded to notice that
>>
>>153578039
I mean wasn't that the qhole point of the first half of the movie?
Feels like it wouldn't be the best choice for an essay.
>>
>>153578151
I'd say the movie focuses much more on the concepts of acceptance and how, no matter how painful it is, you gotta look for it inside yourself and those that actually appreciate you than those that reject you, but I guess you could say that too.

Although ultimately it doesn't matter: video essays frequently state the obvious anyways, so it's not like that'd stop anyone.
>>
>>153575478
I wish we got a Wreck it Ralph sequel. Why didn't they ever think of doing one?
>>
>>153576151
Ralph's recklessness is literally built into his code. He can't help it.
>>
>>153578290
Video games only existed in the 80s they ran out of games
>>
who cares this movie wasn't very good
>>
>>153575478
