Monster lab is was a fun concept and I have no idea how he made it so boring. Ongoing Chris Kyle joke was insufferable. Felt like modern South Park where they stretch 1 joke out to last a full season.I enjoy Melvin though. Reminds me of those horror anthologies like Cryptkeeper or Freaky Stories.But yeah, his flavour of the month animations are pretty boring as well. Once you've seen one, you've seen them all.

His "style" just does NOT hold up for longer viewing. Once you settle in with the "style" of the video, it just gets dull; that means he's got 5 minutes tops. The Discord mod video was genuinely a great time. Not just "for a YouTube video," but genuinely enjoyable. My GF and I lost our shit (I don't bother following his papa meat channel, but she loves it for whatever reason). If he can pull that sort of thing off again, it'd be amazing. I'd follow intently for more like that, but I don't expect it; it felt like lightning in a bottle.
