Is Clarence bad? Mr. Enter says it's mean spirited but I thought it was funny. I generally respect Enter so could I be missing something he's picking up on? I also don't get how Craig is better.

The fictional children of Clarence act an awful lot like how kids did in the late 90s and throughout the 2000s. Clarence was rejected by a lot of cartoon fans, a sizable majority who hate being reminded of their childhood because they were in a rush to grow up or were miserable in school. Craig of the Creek fans are typically adults who WISH their childhood resembled the lives of the characters in the show...which isn't really childhood, and more like some fluffy pseudo-adulthood fantasy that resembles childhood.
