Many can agree that Korra could have been better.But has anyone offered an alternative, starting from scratch? If so, can anyone recap a version many here consider to be a better concept than Legend of Korra?

Here and there.She goes to the city to learn from Tenzin and we learn that the people who moved to the air temples had children who were born with air bending powers.Aang lived there for years teaching air bending. But their true cukture is lost replaced with fewer air monk and warrior air monks.Korra's envoy is attacked by equalists on the way. She uses the avatar power yo escape. Shes found by a fire bender. Azul.She is escorted by him to the city.

So was the idea of a world moving slowly beyond the seeming need for the Avatar until shit hit the fan. Same with the villains being the one to instead of destabilize the balance of the world like the Fire Nation being the ones to question why the system is like that at all and deign to change the paradigm entirely. But they fucked up because they didn’t really go any farther than just the ideas stage. Korra never went past spunky girl, the world kept inventing excuses to give the Avatar reasons to exist that felt flat, and the villains raised questions that were never planned to be satisfactorily answered.Frankly., the real alternatives were just to continue the adventures of the Gaang, or give Korra several more generations of separation between her and Aang. But it didn’t happen, and we got what we got.

>>153608629This, something I think it should have explored is the red lotus overprotecting her so much to the point she have the basics for most elements but isn't able to do much more as she never did the learning about other cultures part, I always assumed part of being an Avatar was the journey and discovering the world and its people
