It's Mother's Day, so Batman has nothing do do. May as well WOYA.
Cassie Coon and Lacey Lagomorph dressed as Slave Leia and Oola, respectively, for Star Wars Day. Unfortunately I didn’t complete this until several days after Star Wars Day so I am a complete failure. To handle the shame I shall kill myself.
Look at this.
What I did the other week
What I am doing this weekI hope your mother also has a nice Mother's Day, Batma- ...

>>153609131ok fine Batman.I got the idea to paywall my art by making an artwork like this<----
>>153614333and putting the NSFW version behind a paywall
Just when I gave up hope to see another one of these. Last week I finished this, and I'm sharing with you.
>>153615792And with this I finally give closure to the mr. /co/ and all-stars comics
>>153615792>>153615805You have alot of potential anon. Keep at it, these turned out great.
>drew fanart for a somewhat obscure webcomic on my relatively unpopular social media account>pretty much gave up any hope of this account garnering any significant attention>somehow the relatively low effort fan art garners alot of attention, more than everything else I've previously postedThis aspect of things always leaves me stunned. You give a work 110 percent and get crickets, but when you deliver the bare minimum things explode. I just dont get it.
>>153616035I... I have NO clue. Might just be whether you already have a big following or not. Could it be people think low effort = rising artist who needs more support? This is all assuming the stuff is actually good. You just need more tits and ass, sadly unironically. It's funny some artists make simple sexy drawings which gather a lot of attention, then drop a masterpiece and people's reaction is "this artist can actually draw? WOW!"
>>153616168Before posting these latest pieces I had two followers, that being a close friend and a random stranger who liked a previous post of mine. After uploading the webcomic fanart I gained 8 new followers and got 200+ likes on the pics. None of them were particularly lewd, but I did notice alot of the people who liked the art were NSFW drawfags. I cannot determine a correlation, frankly it just feels like I'm blindly stumbling my way through all this at this point.
>Meant to draw this for the Thundarr thread and forgot>Then we had a Blackstarr thread but it died before I could get started on this thing>After that we had a Thundercats thread I was tempted to share this piece in but the on-topic art I'd already shared didnt garner much of a response so I didnt bother sharing it there eitherMoral of the story, try to get shit done as soon as possible.
>>153616566yo, looks fantasticmore gunz plz
>>153616566Loving that He-Man.
>>153616537God, I'm trying to remember a strange animation about artist dogs. One young amateur dog that shows its stuff online, and there are two veterans that show up to critique his art in the most euphoric, strangest way possibl.Like when the lil dog draws something borderline lewd and these big dogs berate him for being so dirty, get angry, yell, lil dog runs away and then they compliment the anatomy of it all calm like none of that happened.I think in another one the big dogs compete to show lil dog their art, and end up almost wanking it to each other's (the vets) art.The author might know something, I don't know and now I'm afraid to learn.
>>153615792>>153615805Thanks for uploading these to the booru.

Analog artists, what type of paper do you use for more finished drawing? I want to do a character sheet for a character I made, but feel like the sketchbook paper isn't suitable for this.
>>153622991Depends on what I'm putting on the page.Pencil? Sketch or drawing paper.Ink? Manga paper or bristol.Wet media? Hot press watercolor paper.
>>153622991Printer paper and #2 pencils forever and always. It takes alot for me to digitally color and ink somethkng
>>153622991If I'm being technical, I use a sketch book and pencil. It uses bond paper, which is white and porous, with a density of 80 g/m^2. It's thick enough so you can draw, color and erase hardly a lot of times before it breaks. It's also thick enough to prevent messing the backside of the paper to a slight degree (simply put, you can trace the drawing with some lighting). Ink looks good, but it passes through to the other side.I haven't tried any material other than this type of paper, wooden pencils, and some ink pencils. And I have material to last me long before I decide to switch.
Regarding pencils, around a 4H for initial draft, a 4 to 6B for final lines and color with wooden pencils.Make sure to not press hard with the H pencil, otherwise it will mark the paper. And I highly recommend the oily colored pencils, they are soft, cover and diffuminate better than other materials, but they are the most expensive.
