You're already dead.
This is hell.

Can't be worse than the Emoji Movie

I don’t get how Andy Serkis could be such a good actor/VA yet pump out slop like this
>>
Read a synopsis - Seems to me they got the general storybeats right. What's the problem, exactly? It's not as bad as that titanic movie with the rapping dog.

>that titanic movie with the rapping dog
>>
>>153619890
I honestly don’t believe he actually directed it
>>
>>153619906
People are mad that it doesn’t dunk on their political opponents.
>>
>>153619526
But /co/. I thought you guys liked republican-made movies? What happened?
>>
>>153619943
No we like GOOD movies, and especially 2d movies

>reoublican
>a trans black woman in the cast.
>>
>>153619807
Oh yes it can. Emoji movie at least had the decency to be it's own thing. This film takes a serious look at the inevitable down fall of communist revolutions and turns it into a trite anti-capitalist message with product placement and fart jokes.
>>
>>153619992
>inevitable down fall of communist revolutions
wasn't orwell a trotskyist?
>>
>>153619943
>Andy Serkis
>Right wing in any way
you're lying scum and fuck yourself.
>>
I would drop a nuke on california if it meant seth rogen would stop existing.
>>
>>153619992
Emoji movie wasn't it's own thing, it was derivative bullshit made even worse by a dogshit message
>>
>>153619996
He was a socialist sure but he at least had the circumspection to realize just how fucked up the people in his ideology were. The impetus for this book was his experiences in the Spanish Civil war and vile shit the commies did there.
>>
>>153620006
Yeah but it was never taken from such a serious and important piece of culture. Emojis are purposefully inane. Animal Farm has an important message that everyone should know. That alone makes this film lower than Emoji movie.
>>

>>153620002
Look up the company who produced this movie.
>>
>>153620037
It was competed a year before Angel bought it. They only purchased the distribution rights. Please learn about the biz before baiting.
>>
Question about the film's moral. Is it wrong to think that it's half baked to the point you can argue Pinkerton and her company were also in the right?
>>
>>153619890
He's really not. He's a jerk and a moron who needs to be directed over and over but his ego blocks their advice anyway until he thinks he did it all.
>>
>>153619918

>Laverne Cox
How does he keep getting work? I've seen him in person, he looks like an emaciated ghoul with fake tits and is a charisma vacuum.
>>
>>153619906
Isn’t it though?
>>
>>153619890
He was so desperate to get this made that he got in bed with a shitty Christian propaganda outlet and the result is a heavily compromised film
>>153619906
It dramatically alters the allegory to the point it just doesn't work. Besides being heavily sanitized (you're not seeing those dogs kill anyone and Boxer's fate is far less brutal) its new and changed elements make it a critique of "the wrong kind" of capitalism and lionizes "the right kind." Socialism being ruined by Stalin? Authoritarianism rising from a takeover of a populist movement? lol wuzzat?
>>
>>153620013
>In his ideology
Nigger his entire beef is that the fuckers he hated weren't socialists, they were selfish opportunists capturing and sabotaging socialist movements

every. single. time.

It was finished before Angel bought it.

Ive felt that way since I died and fought my way back.

PS.Their all wrong. About the other side.

>Communists should be lynched, every communist is an enemy of God!
Why is this our default mindset?

People only care about Trotsky because he was a collaborator with American interests to destroy the USSR. If anyone had listened to him, Kerensky would never have been deposed.

And how are things at Daily Wire, Ben. We’ve heard you’ve been having some rough times lately.

Nah, man, this is a cattle farm for elder gods to harvest soul-popcorn from.

Seriously, though, rewriting Orwell is so over-the-top Orwellian.

Any time we tolerated the commies has lead to disaster.

I don't think playing inhuman characters means that one is a good actor; see Ron Pearlman and Doug Jones.

My only legacy will be that my post became a 4chan banner.

As someone who's seen both, It's actually more disjointed than the Emoji movie. They had no idea how to deal with pacing and scene transitions in this movie. It makes it feel like a weird dream.

The constant raping of IPs is never going to end. And the worst part is that people still keep going to see 'memberslop so they have an incentive to keep churning out garbage.

Fascist.
>>
>>153619996
He liked the man and his dream but realised that they were ultimately flawed as you would ultimately get someone spotting the power vacuum and inserting themselves into it.

Communism takes power away from workers, Socialism enshrines powers these powers in the workers so they can't be taken away.
>>
>>153624517
Communism has killed more people than fascism.
>>
>>153624645
>Socialism enshrines powers these powers in the workers so they can't be taken away.
Socialism enshines powers in whomever manages the logistics behind the state's resources, and that's the thing you pinkos never seem to grasp. You're not handing it off to the working class, you're handing it off the bureaucrats in management.
>>
>>153624881
And capitalism more than both combined.
>>
>>153625222
Just because you think your one line sound god doesn't make it real
>>
>>153625222
This is one of those lines that sloganeering Redditfags thinks sounds clever until you spend two seconds thinking about it and realize it's profoundly retarded.

Let's assume that's true for a moment (that's a whole can of worms); doesn't that just mean we should be fascist more than capitalist?
>>
>>153619996
He was an avowed socialist until his death, but the entire point of the book was that socialism and communism could be subverted by authoritarian and dictatorial forces, wielding its "greater good" messaging against the masses. He wasn't so foolish as to espouse that whole "real socialism/communism" has never been tried, but he also never admitted or conceded that the authoritarian takeover of the glorious socialist revolutions was the norm, and not some freakish outlier. Dying at 46 kinda shut down any chance for a later in life reflection of his political beliefs.
>>
>>153625566
This.
>>
>>153625509
No, it means we shouldn't use ready made phrases as if they confirm anything besides our own uninformed biases.
I don't care about communism but not every negative phrase associated with it is right.

Yeah dude, the number of people Stalin and Mao killed are totally "unconfirmed biases."
Jesus Christ, it's bad enough that you faggots are so disingenuous (do you think that lip service at the end is fooling anyone when you're using r/socialism canned rebuttals?), but why do you also have to be so stupid about it? Furthermore, why do you fags also constantly indulge in pretentious verbosity, as-if you treat casual online conversation like a high school book report?
I'm asking that rhetorically because you should shut the fuck up for the sake of our collective IQs.
>>
>>153626674

This is your biggest lie.

Which pig is supposed to be Hitler again?
>>
>>153619906
if by "general story beats" you mean "there is a farm" and "the pigs start running the farm"
>>
>>153622331
Technically socialism has never been tried because Marx envisioned it as the next step of capitalism but every time it's been applied, it was on feudalt shitholes or postcolonial shitholes. Marx believed the first socialist country was going to be England as the most industrialized nation of his time
