Why is /co/ media so desperately to be zany and intense nowadays? Do creators have ADHD?
>>153623626Because the target market has internet-induced ADHD
>>153623626This guy was barely in the movie.
>>153623626>nowadaysTime to watch some classic tex avery stuff my man
>>153623626Execs hired uncreative people and they're freaking out desperetely clawing at any5hing that gives them impressions
>>153623698I missed the part where Screwy Squirrel started screaming for 10 seconds as if he was just coming from the jail showers.
>>153623626They chased off family audiences and boys by pushing therapy speak faggot propaganda and now they're desperate to win them back with lolsorandumb humor which itself is tired and old.
>>153623770Can't promise anything for the squirrel but the wolf does it multiple times
>>153623626Now days?Shit was built on cartoonists with zany ideas.
>>153623626>>153623683Tom Lizard felt even more forced than Clod if you'll believe it. The fact so much of Hoppers's marketing revolved around him made me fear this film had little else going for it. I was pleased to find out how much they kept secret for the remaining half
>>153623626I laughed during that scene.
>>153623770Lmao
>>153624562that's surrealism. I appreciate the bait though, more people should read litlle nemo.
>>153623626>Do creators have ADHD? No. Audiences do, and studio execs pressure the filmmakers to cater to ever-dwindling attention spans.
>>153625888I cam imagine it was probably post screen testing. The scene in question is all the animals trying to imitate a loud noise. The lizard kind of zany about that but I doubt that specifically was on purpose. Probably some kids laughed at it, so they probably added the same stupid screaming lizard later in the movie.
>>153623626The vax wrecked their brains.
cute couple~
>>153623626I can hear this image
>>153628948me and who
>>153625888They should make some 2D shorts like Ratatouille did
>>153623626Its what cartoons are for and it's popular. Weepy pastel therapy cartoons were popular with the artists but audiences left.>>153628174Lockdowns made them realize the internet outside of their insulated bubble of industry connections doesn't give a crap what they make and they had an existential crisis. I know because they yelled at me a lot while having it
>>153623763>any5hing
>>153628024Kinda crazy how he's barely ever on model
>>153623626why is OP always just a bunch of buzzwords?
>>153631931not that crazy really, been like this for about a decade now
>>153628024I'm convinced that no one watches nuSpongebob so the animators just fuck around
>>153632334Its the most popular cartoon.
>>153632351Bro go away
>>153623626what a funny lil guy
>>153632949Go huddle up in a discord of gays if you don't like reality or intellectual thought.
Because the media in question is made for children 3-6 so they think "zany and intense" is what that demographic enjoys
>>153635081Animation. Is. CINEMA!!!
>>153636403I never liked how Lord & Miller keep getting full credit for Mitchells vs. Machines. They didn't even write the damn thing.
>>153625954I didn't, in part because I'd already seen it 50 times before finally watching the movie.
>>153627449not that funny
>>153623626maybe?
