Has anyone read The Red Seas comic?2000 AD thread.
>>153625563Never heard of it.
>>153626427Well now you have!
>>153627663I haven't.
>>153625563yeah Fun little series reminded me of Ray Harryhosen films with all the weird monsters. The WW2 and modern-day flash forwards felt a bit pointless though. The nautical aspect also felt underused imo since the main cast don't even own a ship for most of the strip.
>>153628523Ray Harryhausen films more sperfically the Sinbad and Jason and the Argonauts, which get referenced a lot in this strip.
>>153628414You can't use the same lie twice, anon.
>>153628544>sperfically
>>153628523>Harryhosen>>153628544>Harryhausen ... so which is it?
>>153625563Pirates are so cool, I might have to peep
>>153628523>The WW2 and modern-day flash forwards felt a bit pointless though.>The nautical aspect also felt underused imo since the main cast don't even own a ship for most of the strip.Fuck...
>>153632090the latter one
>>153634258The flash forwards are pretty short at least, so they don't waste to much time, but yeah, for a book called Red Sail, not a lot of action takes place at sea, instead lots of mysterious islands filled with mythological creatures or giant ants eect, very B-movie feeling comic
>>153635053Ah, okay.
>>153635070well, that sounds cool as well
>>153635070Alright. I'm sold.
>>153625563Sounds cool, any particular pages/panels worth sharing?
>>153625563No
>>153638725I'll try to get some later.
>>153640140No interest in any 2000AD strip anon?
