The problem with speedsters is that it's IMPOSSIBLE to write them well. When you have a dude who can move faster than anyone and can punch you a hundred times until you pass out before you even have time to react you have to contrive all sorts of tortured reasons why the hero can't win instantly.

I wouldn't say that, but I do think writers give Most of them way too many buffs with zero weaknesses. Does flash really need to be able to phase through walls, casual time travel, immunity to poisons, super congnition, speed theft, the ability to proportionally adjust his perception of time...etc with zero drawbacks? People give superman crap but atleast his writers actually have several weaknesses for him. It's no wonder flashes best stories are him fight another speedster. Super speed could work but writers have to take the good with the bad. I think Dash is fine. He is quick but not so fast regular mooks aren't a threat to him.
