Putting aside all the obvious sex comments that will be made for a moment:Bad Guys would work better than Zootopia in this swap. Mr Wolf’s getting involved with cop Judy then the Bad Guys becoming detectives would be natural, or even the way it progressed in the second film where Judy gets shunned then becomes part of the secret agency with them. Zootopia would have the issue where Nick is a con artist and Diane mayor of Zootopia, and when the film ends does Nick just become her assistant? No way to get them to both become detectives
Nick was going to spend the rest of his life a low level hustler going it alone and would have never even crossed Diane's radar. Diane might have been able to figure out Lionheart's half of the conspiracy based on her own smarts, but the connection with the savage outbursts being caused by a plant would be much more difficult. Hard to say where that ends upI can see Judy being similarly driven to figure out who stole the meteor and while I don't think she'd be able to coerce Wolf into helping as easily, I think she could befriend him in a similar way and they could probably work out Marmalade's plot
