Why are there so many Battles that end in main character's death ; Does Andrew Hussie get a kick out it?
Because battles that don't end in someone's death are mostly pointless. Characters either seek to avoid death or use it for their own purposes, because it's the point of no return. The event horizon for essentiality, if not relevance.

>>153632100They start mortal, but the characters who undergo the ritual of ascension are reborn as demigods, who are agelessly immortal and have resurrective immortality, so long as they don't die a hero's death or a villain's death. The conditions for determining those two are situational and flexible.
