Even if the game was rigged, it's more beneficial to a community to be working hard and striving for greatness than to give up because you believe trying isn't worth it.

I'm surprised I haven't heard of any real grass roots African American game development happening. All the tools are free and all the information is available, so some nerdy urban teens should have been able to make some amazing game right now but it feels like that drive isn't there.
