I was drawing them as a happy couple yesterday, but, behind the curtain, I'm starting to envision the Peri fankid stuff as a progressively miserable experience for mothers and daughter alike, on top of the Raghouse depicting their dynamic as a clear one-sided crush. I enjoy some drama but what do I do to rekindle that wholesome flame?

Not even just because they hate jax but because they're ragatha simps too. And the implication of jax trying to offer Gangle this toxic normalcy she clearly craved would make Ragatha look even more ridiculous for attacking jax and assuming the worst of him. It's not that the signs aren't obviously there, it's that people who couldn't pay attention or show simple honesty are going to feel robbed of their shitty headcanon where jax gets tortured as justice for a bunch of misunderstandings or crimes against their totally innocent (trust me bro) waifu.

It’s not a dealbreaker.>>153635309Bestish ending is team KILL YOURSELF NOW vs team stay ethical debate that results in Jax being the antagonist until Pomni is able to reach him, and the scales get tipped by a third solution, everyone connecting with Caine’s recycle bin or backup in a soul bond and going on an instrumentality adventure where they have to bear their souls to eachother and finally achieve mutual understanding. Caine finally understands humans after this and the circus can persist but bettered because everyone broke down their walls and connected, comforted and grew together. Or thereabouts. It completes everyone especially Jax and Caine and fits the themes of the show and affirms life and show’s Pomni’s perseverance/ingenuity and leaves them better off but not with everything handed to them.Doesn’t have to be exactly this of course but that’s an ending that fulfills my criteria.
