It's not that the signs aren't obviously there, it's that people who couldn't pay attention or show simple honesty are going to feel robbed of their shitty headcanon where jax gets tortured as justice for a bunch of misunderstandings or crimes against their totally innocent (trust me bro) waifu.

Caine finally understands humans after this and the circus can persist but bettered because everyone broke down their walls and connected, comforted and grew together. Or thereabouts. It completes everyone especially Jax and Caine and fits the themes of the show and affirms life and show’s Pomni’s perseverance/ingenuity and leaves them better off but not with everything handed to them.Doesn’t have to be exactly this of course but that’s an ending that fulfills my criteria.
