Matt Murdock is going to spend the first half of the season in prison, locked up with the former AVTF officers he helped put away.
The Defenders (Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist) will protect New York in Daredevil’s absence and one of their enemies will be the Irish mafia.
Karen Page will begin working as a lawyer and Sheila Rivera will replace Wilson Fisk as the mayor.
Fisk will be in exile in Puerto Rico, but will be coerced to return to New York City to somehow help Murdock. He will not be the main villain of the season and will have a smaller role.
Heather Glenn will go crazy and become Lady Muse.
Brett Mahoney will also return.
Elodie Yung is rumored to return as Elektra and has been dropping teases about it on social media.
The Hand is also rumored to return following their appearance in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Jack Mulhern has cast as Philip, "a smart and scrappy New Yorker who is sweet and lovable with a hidden rageful side." This character is speculated to be Fisk's illegitimate son Butch Harris from the comics, and part of the reason why Fisk returns to New York City.
I think we need Punisher S3 already and maybe Heroes for Hire.
