Recently watched the whole damn thing. I can concur that Flame Princess is the beginning of the end. Watch everything before that, then once Flame Princess comes in, skip all her episodes. Then eventually when it feels right, start skipping all episodes that even remotely center a female character.There are still some pretty good episodes in the later seasons but its not worth sitting through the garbage. The Distant Lands with Finn in the afterlife is kino though

Ironically, i regard S3, 4, 5 and 6 as the peak of the show by far and one of the best things the west has produced, but yeah, i can see why some don't like it. Season 6 is a pretty decent stopping point, as finn comes to terms with a lot of stuff and has a nice thesis of how life can be an adventure if you very much chose it to be that way. There are some decent stuff past S6 but eh, not worth the hassle.
