So this is a serious question. How exactly does /co/ read CBZ and CBR comics? I use Mcomix however my monitor is to small like the full page (the comic was not made for screens) is cut in half and scrawling down is distracting and feels wrong.Do you like buy a gigantic 4K monitor to have 1 page fir on a full screen or what? Because trying to scroll down to read all of it is a pain.
>>153650380>scrawling down is distracting and feels wrongI feel the complete opposite. Scrolling down is the way I like reading comics.
>>153650396>I feel the complete opposite. Scrolling down is the way I like reading comics.OK let me demonstrate here is 1 page I look at.See how scrolling down is a problem? My options are1) Fit to screen -> Text to tiny to read2) Jump around the page to try to read it.This clearly was intended to be seen on paper where you see all the panels not have these cuts in the written text. >I feel the complete opposite. Scrolling down is the way I like reading comics.1) What is the physical size of your screen?2) What comics do you read on it?For example I do not have problems reading web comics since the artist did have screens in mind while making it. This was not intended ofr a screenPS: Picture 1 of 2

>>153650380Yac reader on my tablet Yac library on my computer. I can store the comics on my computer and view them on the tablet. If I’m going to leave the house and want to keep reading, it’s super easy to import them to your device. I used to use an app called chunky which is great, but comics had to be on your actual device. YAC is super convenient, especially if you have a sizable library.

>>153650380manga reader w/ auto-crop that can read local CBR / CBZ / folders populated w/ images on a 21:9 6.9" mobile screen.>landscape, single continuous view for comics w/ minimal vertical panels (strips, comix, etc.)>portrait, single page view for the restif a graphic novel / bande dessinée has too large a canvas to take in the intricate details on such a small display, i'd launch Android desktop mode onto a 16:9 TV in landscape, single continuous view navigate pages via bluetooth mouse.also, for single page view, i bought physical photo shutter buttons, wired to Volume Up by default, to remap for comic navigation:>single-click: next page, PgDn, scroll down x pixels>long-click: previous page, PgUp, scroll up y pixels>double-click: launch Circle to Search / Gemini to auto-translate screenmuch better than moving the thumb to tap/swipe the screen for true frictionless reading.

CDisplayEX on an Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet
CDisplayEX. Display two pages. Fit to width.
>>153650380>>153650600I'm on CDisplay. I'll use "Fit", "Fit Width", "Set Height (1400px)", or no checkmarks on anything. The best option to choose depends on the comic. Some fuckhuge scans are too big to fit comfortably on my monitor without reducing their size, while some old low-quality scans will only look more shitty if they get stretched out. With your sample pages, I'd try setting height to a fixed number and seeing if that makes it easier to read.If your monitor stand is one of those models that allow you to easily rotate the monitor sideways, I suppose portrait mode would make it more comfortable to read comics too.
