Will the ending be satisfying?
>>153658549Stranger Things 2.0
>>153658549Was the DHMIS ending satisfying?
>>153658589Yes but only because it was deliberately a joke>Shred the lore in the personal shredder
>>153658549No, either they get out or they don't. It's too huge to satisfy everyone, whether they infodump everything or leave most things unanswered people will be upset no matter what.
>>153658549I'm betting that whether they leave or not, they'll all survive so Glitch can continue using them for merch animations and music videos.
>>153658549No
>>153658549Yeah
I'm looking forward to Goose crashing out over the negative reception no matter what happens in the end.
>>153658549not a chance
>>153658549Satisfying or not, one thing's for certain about the Amazing Digital Circus finale; its pacing will be FUCKED
>>153660384For someone whose tweets are kiddin' around 99% of the time, you'd think Goose would have thicker skin.
>>153658549It'll be satisfying knowing that Cooper Goodwin's most successful work won't be remembered a year after it ends, barring continued advertisement of merch as Glitch pivots (one could say "transitions") to a streetwear company that sometimes makes cartoons on the internet.
will anything ever satisfy the fans?
The ending will get mixed reviews. People like me who go in with zero expectations will probably walk away thinking it was good, nothing fantastic, but as enjoyable as most other episodes have been up to this point.Others will walk away thinking it was bad, either because they expected more from a theatrical release than just the last episode of the series, thinking it'd be bigger budget with more spectacle, or something. The remaining would hate it for not confirming their own headcanon and giving them the ending they wanted/expected.
>>153658549well, based on the spoilers (which may or may not be true), I don't think most people will be satistified, but who knows.
>>153658549To most viewers? Yes.To people who with an unhealthy obsession over their headcanon? No.
>>153658549Pomni will be able to leave because her human body is still alive and habitable, everyone else will have to choose between the circus and and dying because their human bodies have long since died.
Given it was inspired by End of Evangelion I'm not sure it'll even make sense
>>153664330I do not recall typing and twice I must be loosing it.
>>153658549we're gonna end this show, or twat?
>>153658549No but I look forward to the amount of video essays shitting on this show that will come out now that the fans can’t hide behind "i-it’s not finished yet!!!"
>>153658549it will be Game of Thrones/SvTFOE tier bad. so bad it will make you retroactively hate even the parts you once liked. GooseXerxes has too many distractions.
>>153658589Unironically kinda uplifting.MC eats absolute shit at the end but it was a sacrifice he decided to make in the moment and the other prisoners were freed.
>>153658549I have no expectations aside from being a firm believer in the brain scan theory so I probably will be. But I can't really say the same for most people.
>>153658549It'll be tryhard. They're gonna wave live action segments in front of their audience and be like "oooooh we're breaking animation conventionsssssss isn't this such a mindfuck?" and it will be eyeroll inducing.
>>15365854950/50 split
It will be so bad that I think it's great because its so bad
>>153658549The ending won't satisfy ANYONE regardless of what gooseworx wrote anyway and i'm looking forward to see you people nitpicking anything just to say you didn't like it
>>153658549>Movie comes out to negative reception>A day later a fan shoots up the theatre because funnybunny isn’t confirmed>Goose cries about how this is the worst fandom xhe’s ever seen on xitter>The fanbase says "we don’t deserve you Goose!" and blames the shooter for the movie’s failure.
Ending is gonna be some "CUHRAAAAYZEEE MINDFUCK" and everyone, and I mean everyone, is going to be tripping over themselves to claim they're the ones who GET IT and that there's an entire world of imaginary haters that they're gonna make sure you know they are SMARTER than, when in reality just about everyone will be like "yeah dat was neat".
>>153658564Please it can't be that bad, no need for a I'm gay speech right?
>>153658549they put a copy of their mind in a computertheir real bodies are still out living their lives
>>15365854922 days until Soma theory is finally jossed!Silly boys, "are they real or just digital copies?" is literally the first thing everyone thinks of when dealing with a simulation story. As if they would make such an obvious twist ending.
>>153667066Why are you counting on it being unsatisfying but then getting preemptively pissy realizing that people probably won't be happy if it does end up that way?
>>153658549>Trannyjax & SOMA confirmed>Ribbit & Kaufmo were secondary villains on account of them being a TERF and a chud respectively>Jax abstracted them by snitching to Caine but gets a free pass because transphobia = bad or something>Also Kinger is the overarching antagonist and he will die first
>>153663293those people rarely have a sense of humor about themselves
>>153667766NTA but your favorite characters won't end up fucking. That's all it'll take for /co/
>>153658549Kinger is the only human still in there. He has the most control over the simulation and started subconsciously bringing NPCs in to keep his insanity at bay. His shenanigans with the butterfly, for example, shows that Caine is unaware of player made elements, and therefore assumed that every NPC Kinger created was just another human dropping inWhen Caine died, every element ceased to function aside from Kinger and the NPCs. That's because the NPCs were Kingers creation, not CainesThere. That's my punt at a theory
