They don't visibly age, and when the kids grows up they send them away to the only known orphanage that houses them so it's crowded as hell. No I ship Mordecai and Rigby I think they have a deep bond and connection and they both piss each other off but at the end of the day it’s both of their terribleness that brings them together
Most friends aren't great friends. They were selfish and crappy to eachother, which is pretty normal. What really matters is being able to hand a good time spending time with the bros while having that person who will be there for you when it really matters. Which they usually are.
