>Danger Mouse get ipad>Danger Mouse join boy band>dirty jokes in fucking Danger MouseWho was the target audience? Kids don't care about some 80's cartoon they never heard of getting renewed and the adults who remember don't want to watch this shit.
>>153666260>>Danger Mouse get ipadI thought you were making a terrible R&S reboot reference, but is that seriously a real episode?
>>153666260>Kids don't care about some 80's cartoon they never heard Why does everyone keep forgetting what the point of reboots areYes they do not know what something like Danger Mouse is before a new show is made. They don’t know what Mickey Mouse is either starting out The point of new content is to introduce it to new generations so the IP does not die out like those who have nothing done with them
>>153666260>the adults who remember don't want to watch this shitSpeak for yourself
>>153666260i wanna fuck the turkey
>>153666260Dangermouse always had adult jokes in it. The dialogue was for >sophisticated adults, while the whacky zany antics were for kids
>>153666529Dumb rat doesn't understand technology XD
>>153666907Still better than>muh cellphone addiction
>>153666907Interesting how the series at first wrote DM as a clueless boomer who believes the good old fashioned way trumps a silly device with all the bells and whistles, but later they start writing him as completely tech dependent and addicted. What's funny is that's perfectly analogous to real life boomers who went from anti-technology to slurping up AI slop on their latest iphone while a robot delivers their McDonalds.>>153666926Don't watch the Wicked Leaks episode...
>>153667224>Penfold's addiction to social media...I stopped when I read the summary.
>>153667224Not really. In the very first episode when he switches his eyepatch for the iPatch he's immediately like "DAMN SQUAWK YOU GOT GAMES ON YO PHONE??"
>>153666711Chicken
>>153667281Zoomer, being momentarily impressed by something you didn't know technology could do doesn't mean you have to be reliant on it.
>>153667476>insulting boomers AND zoomers Then what demographic are you
>>153666260today anon discovers what a reboot's purpose is
>>153666260The original 80s Danger Mouse had some of the most highbrow adult humor in animation history.
I met Marc Silk (the guy who voices Nero) recently at the Portsmouth Comic Con.Apparently he was completely unaware of the game kickstarter.
>>153666260
>>153666260I like when he collaborated with MF DOOM
>>153666260>Who was the target audience?Me
>>153666260how many Mike Harding albums do you own OP
20 years ago that feel like a lifetime now, I joined a non profit organization, key words non profit we didn't took anyone's moneyWe wanted to protect third world natural resourcesI think we can accept that capitalism ain't that bad, unless you are a third natural resource then you are fuckWe wanted to save a glaciar, it was incredible a wonder of the world the most beautiful white thing spawning an entire ecosystem of gorgeous life, I would show it to youBUT IS GONE
I could understand 2015 DM being criticised at release because we hadn't seen the turd's peak of how awful reboots could be, but now we've lived through that era and seen how little the creators can give a fuck, how could anyone single out this reboot out of all of them? Maybe it's because the original DM felt like the UK's pride and joy so the smallest change feels like tainting its legacy but it's among one of the best in hindsight and more worthy of praise for what it got right than disdain for what it got wrong.
>>153668693haha, yeah man!
>>153666260The first episode got 1 million viewers so there was an audience for it
>>153666260Their version of Zeus was hot. It's clearly meant for men who like men
>>153669104Eh. Establishing the bar as extremely low isn't very smart if you want to convince people something is high quality. I say that as a fan of the reboot.>>153668693Wrong thread? Meme I'm out of touch with?
>>153668543Are they still getting David Jason or have they given up on that
>>153669398Looks like they're still planning on doing that.
>>153666260>>Danger Mouse get ipad>>Danger Mouse join boy band>>dirty jokes in fucking Danger MouseK-KINO
>>153669670It's way too late to rally anyone against this. At this point I'll take lame twerk jokes over stuff like Gumball referencing skibidi toilet.
>>153669775>At this point I'll take [how do you do fellow kids] over stuff like [how do you do fellow kids]Dude it's all the same shit just for a new generation of ipad fetuses
>>153669227>Wrong thread? Meme I'm out of touch with? It's a new meme. It just came out when you weren't looking.
>>153666260But does Danger Mouse do all of these at once?
>>153666260I liked it
>>153669104>praise for what it got rightSuch as?
>>153666260I thought those plots are funny because DM is a stoic James Bond spoof so it's an amusing juxtaposition for him to squee over boybands or have a child's grasp of tech
>>153668543British Tom Kenny. Bitch is everywhere.
>>153669104Even if I didn't like the DM reboot, which I do, I'd take 50 of it over another NuPPG or NuAnmianics, or whatever the fuck that Ren & Stimpy reboot was gonna be.
>>153670929>DM is stoicThat's Jeopardy Mouse
>>153671229The animaniacs reboot wasn't that bad
>>153671355NTA but it was one of the reboots fuelled by contempt and spite which just results in a miserable passionless soulless project.
>>153671494>fuelled by contempt and spiteI have no idea how this has been such an adequate motivating factor as to actually fuel as many projects as it has.I guess I'm not mentally ill enough to understand.
>>153666260>dirty jokes in fucking Danger Mousei'm fairly sure cosgrove hall had dirty jokes
>>153671355Plebbit is down the hall to the left
>>153670929This is just pseudbabble for "out of character." Why reboot it if you don't want to engage faithfully with the characters?
>>153669524We can see the bottom remark, Calvin.
>>153671596Name one
>>153666260The "danger mouse is a forgotten literal who" thing is so tiring, he's on the same level of popularity in the UK as the beano
>>153674082>the beanoThe one with Gnasher? Seems a lot cooler than American Dennis IMO.
>>153674082American website
>>153674082Yeah, but by that logic the reboot should be more super well-known.
>>153674297Some reboots don't even get released to the wider public. Case in point, R&S, which was for the best.
