Can somebody explain why 2009-2017 Scooby DTVs had such good animation and were so fucking GOATED while other WB properties were fucking drowning?Scooby-Doo got better animation on the regular than the DC animated movies back then that were supposed to be the main selling brand.Not to mention Tom & Jerry that was in the boondocks.

You just said it yourself. The Scooby direct-to-videos were a side project.That meant the writers could go a certain degree of nuts like in the KISS crossover.That meant some were good, and some were bad, but most (excluding the more nostalgia bait ones) had some semblance of a writer's room clearly having fun with it
