"I'm an expression of the corporation that never gets mad" those fucking lines are so bad. That is what the character is, yes. But having him say it is SO BAD.

>>153672581I liked when The Female eagerly took care of Hughie's hamster while he was away and when he came back he was massively overweight, probably because she liked watching him eat. It was also cute when she woke up from her coma because Hughie was about to eat her chocolate limes.
>>153672581I like how Butcher is alot more of a dangerous asswipe, and blatantly manipulative. I also think giving The Boys™ their powers makes conflict resolution better because they can actually go toe to toe with other supes, and it feeds into Butcher's eventual supe genocide plan as his self loathing builds to an apex after finally finishing off homelander. I also like how Homelander is really just an asshole, but not actually the main villain of the comic, Vaught American is. Vaught's exploitation of the lower classes and the V exposure by that working class giving MM his powers is also alot more interesting, and feeds into what I said earlier about VA being the real villains.
Random gags like Stillwell testing increasingly elaborate ways to assassinate a politician only for the guy to get mauled to death by a wolverine in front of a bunch of kids or Butcher secretly hiring a man to jerk off onto Hughie's door every morning in an attempt to get Hughie to move someplace nicer.
