>>153684098The thing is that Mainframe created a completely original continuity compared to what Trendmasters had in place as seen with the original War Planets video game. For example, Biowulf is the leader of Planet Bone instead of Femur in the video game, and Kryos referred to the entirety of the Ice people and not just their king. Also certain elements like the Beasts' Scorpizoid tank were not included in the show while other things like the Inferno fighters of Planet Fire were made.

>>153687865In the U.S., it was originally just War Planets. Shadow Raiders was the show's name in Canada. The broadcast partner didn't like referencing "War" in the title. >>153683789I'm glad, but I wish this sort of thing came before the weird Reboot Guardian code stuff no one asked for.I imagine it was exec interference, but it's still unfortunate they didn't start with a strong foot of showing people Mainframe's work first.
The ending while kind of a cliffhanger still felt like a decent ending. The show's theme was survival and they managed to survive, the beast became someone else's problem. Now the Reboot ending still kills me to this day.
