Some exec at warner bros demanded they push TTG more on the channel. Because the TTG spam started around the time the hype for DCEU/snyderverse movies like batman v superman started and warner wanted to push DC more especially to small children so they can nag their parents to see batfleck brand criminals>3. They spammed TTG because they wanted people to use that shitty CN app instead, and people ended up still not using that fucking garbage app and changed the channel anyway hence why cartoon network studios was shuttered several years later>4. Because warner demanded they push TTG more since it was a warner animation project and that some warner exec had favoritism over the show rather then the CN exec at the time and wanted to push a warner animation show to the forefront on CN instead of cartoon network studios productions. Look at how thundercats roar (a warner animation production btw) was shilled as so heavily in the beginning before the vitriolic backlash took place.

After it I'd air some other CN action classics, maybe BATB or Xiaolin, before going all in on the anime. CN really just fumbled every golden goose they had. Mishandling Ben was the last straw and it shows because none of the subsequent revivals landed. Not PPG and certainly not roar. Not to mention this latest wave of originals boiling down to CN's lost generation of cartoons.
