I remember Foster's being insanely popular back in the day and had a pretty consistent pirating scene because people were eager to watch the episodes (It was also easier to upload entire episodes on YouTube and get away with it). Now all online discussion about the show is how the characters are assholes and the show is frustrating to watch.
I never seen anyone saying that actually I thought it was well-liked

>>153699545Honeslty I think it might be because people see that it only lasted 2 years, 97-99, and immediately assume that it wasn't popular, since other Cartoon Cartoons like Mike, Lu and Og, Sheep in the City and Time Squad all lasted the same amount and failed. Despite the fact Cow and Chicken had 4 seasons, a spinoff and plenty of merchandise. Even today it still gets merch. Another reason might be because it didn't have CN City bumpers while Dexter and Courge (which had the same amount of episodes as C&C and ended before CN City) had. Basically, some of the criticism isn't about the quality of the actual show, just people that compare it to other shows.
