Well I just watched it and it's perfectly fine. It made me laugh out loud a few times, the animation and style are decent, character designs are pretty good, even the writing wasn't the shitshow I was led to believe. THAT SCENE wasn't some apocalyptic death knell for the episode, it skirts the line of almost trying to be too deep and almost taking too long but it fits since she has legit PTSD from her world ending and the scene ends before it overstays its welcome. I think people want this show to be more shit than it turned out to be. By all accounts from who's involved to the subject matter, it SHOULD be more cringe, it SHOULD be the Mixtape of video games heh but it isn't. It's just a cute show with some surprisingly neat choreography and likable characters which is sadly a rarity in cartoons today. As someone who enjoys dunking on dumpster fires like the Concords, I am disappointed in my fellow haters when I say: this ain't it. Now if you'll excuse me, I must go draw porn of this show since the only reason I watched it was to have better context to more accurately portray the characters.

Even oldshool games didn't end when you beat them, since in those days you had so much less games you'd end up replaying them down the line.Nowadays so many games have postgame content, are designed around people running them repeatedly or are mainly online multiplayer-focused becoming lifer games for people even outside of MMOs the conceit of the series seems even more out of touch.
