I don't know i feel about it. The most recent season was still decent but without the original showrunners vision it's sorta turned into a Space-Beth & Summer centric show. Now it's been confirmed they're doing another season..Does Dan Hammond or Justin Roiland still get a cut of the profits at least?

The seasons from 3 to 8 have been generally boring with only two episodes that are actually interesting.

They can learn to repair a car without understanding the invidual peices of the car oe the car as a sum. Just by mimicking others that repair cars.They also invest a great deal of time into social class. Social rankings. Not consciously. Emotionally. They are constantly aware of their social position and try to maneuver their position using copied behavior.They also need social connection. It feels them with a buzz. A happy feeling. These two social goals are in constant conflict in Neurotypicals. The need to be social, to feel connected to the group, while also putting aome portion of the group beneath them. To dominate. Which obviously pushes some away.So why do they make lame jokes like that over and over? A poor attempt at connection while also maneuvering social status. To say you are beath us. At best it could be like two puppies play fighting. Playing status games. At worst it is bullying. Which it is depends on how availed the person making the joke is. Are they close enough to the person that they can make fun of them back? Or have they hidden all flaws from the person being picked on so that there can be no give oe take?
Are they ever going to release more Planetina merch? A blind bag figure or something? She's probably my favorite character in the show. God, it sucks that one of the freshest new takes on cape shit is just a one and done romance in a Rick ans morty cartoon. In 20 minutes it does a better job pointing out the flaws in cape shit AND how that brain washes the best people in industrial society better than a 1000 edge lords trying to make gritty cape deconstruction.Cape stuff and to some extent most media in the west pushes a narrative that making the world better is dependent on the actions of individuals. This ends up driving Planetina over the edge. She feels so much pressure to fix everything herself, she starts killing people. Unfortunately this show is a dark comedy so ultimately she ks discarded for some other girls in the following episodes.

I HATED the beth and jerry bits ever since season 1 and i thought because beth and jerry split in the season 3 opener that they would finally cut them from the show but instead they focused even more heavily on them which made me rage quit R&M and if what youre saying is true it means the writers only increased the shit ancillary and unfunny characters relevance in the years since i abandoned reddit and memey.
