I loved it and spend 100 hours just doing random shit in it of which probaly 20-40 were trying to beat arcade mode on the max difficulty possible with only 2 continues. Only flaw i can give this game is mediocre airgame due to half the roster having no uppercut attack and Adam Warlock not being on the roster.

I just want a beat em up in that style where I can play the Heroes for Hire :/I also wish cosmic invasion had gameplay closer to Shredder’s Revenge. The combat feels kinda barebones

The closest one I could think of would be Nova, because Phyla at least has her sword and poison mechanic, and Surfer is the most powerful character in the game by far. At best, she'd be like Nova with maybe some kind of temporary transformation mechanic into Binary that juices her up and changes her moveset a bit, at worst, she'd just be a worse Nova.

When I said he needed Spider-Sting I meant why doesn't it exist as his A+B anti-air when it already exists as his combo finisher and the second part of his charge attack. It's so strong that his combo assist became my boss killer throughout the entire run. Timing his charge attack so it hits airborne enemies is fun. His webs aren't bad either. The slows are a premium once the difficulty starts ramping up, and there's always spamming them if you feel like wussing out.Finally, his air moves let him move from one side of the screen to the other in a second. No other character can do that. I forget if his dash attack allowed him to avoid projectiles like Rocket's does.His weaknesses are of course his horrible air attack. I just switch out any time it's only flying enemies. I thought web swing kicking back and forth would be like Maximum Spider but it misses a lot for some reason.Overall, I wouldn't say he's the worst just by being able to complete a Hard Arcade run with him from start to finish. Biggest challenge was Surfer stage. Radd is a cunt even if he's slowed down.
