I'm thinking about getting a cheap Android tablet so I don't have to use my phone to read comics. It's hurting my eyes.I want one that's relatively cheap and makes the colors look nice. What are your guys' suggestions?
I guess I would also use it to watch movies and shows in bed too.

>>153715339TCL nxtpaper 14, it's huge and very cheap, at least it was when I got it, like £230. I use it exclusively for reading comics off my server with mihon and on occasion, films with plex.It does have a matte filter layer over the actual lcd, which I suppose will darken/dull things, so you might not like it if colour vibrancy is your goal. See if you can get your hands on another TCL product and test it out.Note, they market this in a very shady way, trying to make out it is like paper/e-ink, which is total bullshit.

>>153715339I switched to digital back in 2011 when I had to sell my comic collection for food and haven’t looked back. The only real bitch is sometimes things don’t get a digital version so you’ve gotta pirate. Anyway. Don’t get anything made by Amazon. Kindles and Kindle Fires are all garbage. iPad is the Cadillac but expensive. My wife hates Apple and uses the Samsung Galaxy tablets and they work well and are like half the price of an iPad. But seriously don’t fall for kindle. They’ve got a new e-ink kindle colorsoft that may be tempting since it alleges it’s like you’re looking at an actual page and not a screen but it’s junk.
