I know the show is already like nearing being 10 years old, but I guess I thought maybe some anons would wanna talk about it over uhh whatever other junk is on the board right now, it's not like there's been a lot of good cartoons to discuss. I am a bit ashamed I never checked it out as I do really like unikitty but at the time the show was airing summer camp island was all I was watching so I totally missed out on when people were talking about this

The first one was an obsession for awhile, and I was part of the target demographic at the time so, there was a period of time where all I'd do was listen to the soundtrack a ton and me and my brother would play the videogame and pretend to be the characters, as silly as that is to look back on. The 2nd movie is well, eh. I can't remember it as well as the first.Also, I made a quick doodle of unikitty right now because for some reason I've never drawn her before and I felt like it after seeing your drawings
>>153727775that’s sweet, and great job on the art! the second movie is definitely a mixed bag. i’m biased in its favor because movie unikitty is best unikitty, and they gave her some cute looks in it, but i also resent that movie because it turned a large chunk of the LM fandom into chris pratt selfcest shippers. i’ve owned the game for a while on steam but i haven’t played through it because im too lazy/busy to play vidya. i’ll definitely get around to it soon though.

>>153728685to be perfectly honest i still haven’t given the show an honest shot, but knowing she’s still got a few fans left on /co/ might force me to take the leap.i specifically avoided the show because i was so autistically devoted to moviekitty that i couldn’t handle the VA change. alison’s performance is perfect and tara’s is phoned in.that being said if you can handle a high energy 2010s cartoon that’s very much for kids and has a lot of TTG in its DNA, it doesn’t seem bad at all. i also appreciate that it was co-created by one of the Dick Figures guys! whenever i see clips i can really feel that coming through.

>>153726835I myself as well, although I can barely recollect what happens in the 2nd.I have to say the thing I think I liked the most about the lego movie 1 back then was as I search his name up despite being the main character emmet's construction worker mecha; still don't understand why unikitty became a slight crush for me, guess I like pink.
