I really wish today's climate would allow cartoons like this to come back. It's got cars, it's got babes, it's got dinosaurs, everything a boy likes and needs for proper development.

I also wish studios would produce expensive animation that makes no money.

Boomers and Gen X’ers are no longer in the industry. So you won’t get cartoon shows like these anymore.

Millennials and Zoomers run the industry now. Which is why we have different cartoons these days.

Soon it will be Gen alpha in charge of the industry and all cartoons will be shit.

Yes, make quality animation instead of the trash.

grim
>>
>>153722855
Keep in mind that animators like Lauren Faust and Craig McCracken are Gen X’ers still trying to push out some shows.
But the industry corporations see them as old hat these days.

NO
>new stories by the original artist
yes

>come back
Anon that show didn't even survive back then, it was a notorious failure. It didn't even last a full season, it got 13 episodes.

Marvel has the rights to this?

>Even back in the times we vault as perfection people were retarded.
Shame.

I'd love to see Schulz continue, but I'm not holding my breath.

I think the property is ripe for a reboot in some format, however. People of all ages are still big into dinosaurs AND postapocalyptic shit. I think a "Cadillacs and Dinosaurs" movie series could really find an audience. Bring big, shameless, pulpy fun back to theaters, and give people a dinosaur movie with a meaningful narrative beyond "OH NO; DINOSAURS". Let GM sponsor it, in spite of the irony. Make a fuckton of toys. Something for everyone.

I like the way you think.

You should read the comic instead. It's way better. It's got cars and babes but dinosaurs get to actually eat people. I wish Shultz would go back to it.

Retards will really say shit like this with a straight face.

13 / 12 episodes were a season. you got 13 saturdays a quarter.

CBS in particular had a bunch of one season and done cartoons that were toyetic action shows, they never gave any of them to gain traction.

It’s true though.

The comics were very good, the cartoon was decent and there was even an arcade beat'em up based on this. For an IP that was discontinued by it's creator I think it went very well.

Nope

cool logo

It had allosaurus cockfights and reptilians who talked with Scrabble tiles, but I remember it mostly being about poaching.

Most days it feels like we're just here to suffer. There's a conspiracy of conspiracies keeping us from reaching such heights of quality story telling ever again.

stop thinking about developing boys OP you're 53 years old

Gen Xers are still running things, but boomers? They're dying out.
