>>153735489That one Voltron cartoon people used to be obsessed with. It was some time after the infamous ending, so I knew it wasn’t going to end well, but I didn’t even get through the first season because I thought the dialogue was really banal. Also, the Bad Guys movie. I only lasted maybe the first ten minutes before I got annoyed.

>>153735569Voltron became completely subsumed by shippers because most people dropped it after the first season but they latched onto some characters really, really hard. Genuinely one of the most cancerous fanbases I've ever seen and that's REALLY saying something because I've seen everything from Invader Zim to Undertale.
>>153735489I did not care for most of Smiling Friends' humor, save for Allan. Haven't seen S3 yet, but it was nice that he got more screentime.

>>153735489Out of all the cartoon shows and movies I’ve ever watched in my life, there’s a bunch I think are mid or eh but still watchable. the only one that I ever actively hated (and still do) is Catdog. Like how do you fuck up schadenfreude? Those are the easiest types of joke in the world you can make. The whole thing feels like that Krusty the Klown bit about how someone getting a pie in the face is only funny if the guy’s got dignity. I actually do like the TV movie though, it’s jarring how wholesome and fun it is compared to the miserable show. It’s one of the best Nick movies and I rewatch it once a year or so.
