>Harry Johnson is the world's zaniest uncouth sleuth, with more Powers than Austin, more Flash than Gordon, and more Dick than Tracy! This two-issue mini-series is a spoof of the old serial action movies of the 1930s and 1940s. Join Harry as he travels the world battling Samurai swordsmen, cannibals, and Nazis!Gonna be storytiming Harry Johnson by Charles Fulp and Craig Rousseau
Disclaimer, this two issue miniseries from 2004 was collected in 2011 with additional pages as part of a "director's cut"I will not be storytiming that because it hasn't been scanned

>>153736649Thanks for the dump. I like the Yeagle designs. The plot and characters were kind of thin and the jokes were on the juvenile side but as a tongue in cheek genre parody for fan service it gets the job done. I do like the ladies in this. This is like pure lowbrow fun.>>153736259I feel my patriotism growing.
Oddly enough there was a twitter account for this series made in 2011The only posts made for it were from last yearhttps://nitter.net/uncouthsleuth
>BB: What kind of surprises, be they pleasant or not, did you encounter while bringing this story to the readers?>CF: Throughout the process, I've been very fortunate to work with some of the most talented people in the industry. And to be able to meet them all in person at San Diego after a year or so of corresponding only through email or by phone was very cool. And the fan response has been great so I guess you could say I've been surprised--or at least reassured--by how supportive the overwhelming majority of people in comics are.>BB: Well, what's coming up for Harry, both in the near and far terms?>CF: I'm kicking around some ideas for a sequel, and I may do a TPB at some point in the future. If I do, I'll probably include a bonus sketch book section that features all of the incredible drawings that Dean Yeagle did for me.>BB: How about you? Is this all that you're working on, or do you have some other proposals in the works?>CF: I have a bunch of ideas on the back burner. I just have to make myself pick one. I'd like to do another comedy, but I also have some ideas that are quite different. Finding time is the biggest obstacle, though, because I have a lot of irons in the fire outside of comics.https://worldfamouscomics.com/bakersdozen/back20040922.shtml
