"Fionna and Cake" and "Bad Little Boy" are both more focused on relationship drama, with the first one including scenes of her accessorizing, than the normal episodes of the early seasons. The original idea for Fionna is a version of AT that appeals to teen girls, compared to the teen boys of the early seasons, or the middle-aged women going through midlife crises that of the later seasons and the actual Fionna and Cake series.The same building blocks being used by two series, but functioning quite differently due to what demographic they're targeting, is nothing new.
