Was this show any good?

if you liked looking at eyecandy

It’s stupid and fun. Definitely a product of its time. I’ve rewatched it a handful of times for nostalgia. Good to put on in the background if you need to do something really tedious.
>>
not really. the only reason to watch it was for the tiddy lady and even then it wasnt really worth it

I had more fun chasing it on download sites in the internet than the show itself.
You can waste your time with far worse.

It's trashy and silly, but if you liked Drawn Together, chances are you'll like this. I don't think I have it saved, so I can't make better webms.

No, not really.

I laughed! it had a nice mixture of lowbrow humor and clever scifi writing. I retained none of it, though, so it's possible it hasn't aged well
I mean, Megas didn't age well for me. I feel like such an asshole that I don't like Megas anymore, but I tried rewatching it, and it was just a lot of nothing. I would fucking adore if we got NEW episodes, but knowing what happens it's just.. yawn.. okay now he hits the button.. now they do this joke..

The most wild thing about tripping the rift. Is how much the show defend captain Kirk and traditional masculinity yet wasn’t very political or message heavy beyond that. The show parodies religion in a smart fashion like futurama did. Offering a good argument for faith and morality philosophically in a secular way where the show trash moral relativism.

>yet wasn’t very political or message heavy beyond that
yeah no shit, it was made 20 years ago
>>

Too bad it didn't have any.
>>
>>153744357
No, because they put the incel lizard in it and back then I thought he was making fun of me.

The writing is shitty and predictable, the art is rudimentary by modern standards, and the show is not nearly as raunchy as it tries to make itself seem, but I find the show enjoyable. I couldn't say that anyone just discovering it now would find it worthwhile, though. It makes for great nostalgia, but I'd have a hard time imagining someone watching it with fresh eyes and finding it endearing enough on its own to wan to binge it.

This show was much better than Drawn Together. Drawn Together was gross and repulsive for the most part, it's closer to Happy Tree Friends. because back then they thought we liked shit like that.

Tripping the Rift?

It had its moments
>>
>>153744357
Man, I forgot all about Tripping the Rift until just now.

Star Trek been trashing moral relativism before Alex kurtzman happened. Even deep space nine admitted evil is very real.

except for when it's an alien race
