In Swamp Thing's journey to Hell to save Abby's soul, there's some demonic little guys in the backgrounds that are clearly Steve Bissette and John Totleben's tip of the hat to Hieronymous Bosch's Hell in the 'Garden of Earthly Delights' triptych.
