I like the guest comics, but I always start to get a little impatient around this point. I don't think the canon story picks up again until like issue 45 or something. At least it does pick up again for a bit, The Tick got left on a cliffhanger for like thirty years, and last I checked still hadn't gotten a resolution, as the creator ran off to Hollywood and never looked back.

It's sad that IDW has not only just turn the turtles into a bunch of trash ninja, even Splinter has become a extremely selfish, reckless, and lacked wisdom person in the current story.
