Isn't Ross almost 40 years old? This seems like something a teen would write.
>>153771289>This seems like something a teen would write.>addressing the target audience is le badsoilennial moment
Why can't he write the show where team rocket tries to steal pikachu and he blows them up with a thunderbolt and then ash gets a participation trophy from the gym
1. He's been working on it for over a decade, so a lot of the narrative concepts are old.2. He has Arin Hanson as a lead writer, and Arin Hanson is a manchild that has made a career out of pandering to teens.3. Even discounting the above two, there is no such thing as "writing for your age". That kind of mindset feeds into the concept of "not starting soon enough", which in turn convinces people not to even try because they think they're too old to accomplish anything of note.
>>153771289The guy replying with audio clips on Youtube is so full of himself. I hate that bitch.
>>153771306You can write for a younger audience and still be mature.
>>153771370enjoy your show having 5 viewers
>>153771289Because the original idea for this show is almost 20 years old

>>153771289As someone who has worked in multiple customer service jobs 90% of people stop mentally maturing in highschool and are stuck like that for the rest of their lives, doesn't matter if their 20 or 30 or 40 or 50 or 60 ect.
>>153771555>90% of people stop mentally maturing in highschool and are stuck like that for the rest of their livesBasically. The difference is that they hopefully learn some skill or trade that allows them to provide for themselves, which is really the only metric of "maturity" that matters in the west. Outside of showing up for their 9-to-5 and pretending to be civilized, most people are incredibly immature, and the insulation offered by the modern world is the only thing keeping them from throwing a tantrum every day.
